The newly appointed Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development Hon Abubakar Abdullahi Bata assumed Office today and pledged total dedication to the Ministry’s Management Team.

Hon Bata who on resumption of office sought for the total and maximum support of the Management Team to ensure the policy thrust of the present administration are implemented accordingly.
Earlier, The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mrs Iyabo Modupe Adekeye who received the Honorable Commissioner on behalf of the Ministry welcomed him and assured him of unalloyed support towards the overall success of his tenure.
She went further to reiterate her absolute cooperation always and that she’s ready to work and be a great team player.
On the entourage of the Honorable Commissioner, the TIC Chairman of Kaiama Hon Sulayman Gado who described the new Commissioner as a core part of the Local Government administration who is very familiar with the terrain and is also coming on board with a lot of experience in Grassroots development.
Also Hon Mahmoud Aboki a former Chairman, Kwara State Teaching Service Commission appreciated the Management of the Ministry for the warm welcome, he described the Hon Commissioner as a grassrooter and solicited for undiluted cooperation to enable him carry out his responsibilities.
