The Kwara State Government on Tuesday, has Commissioned and hand over the Police Secondary School Ballah in Asa Local Government Area of the State.
The State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq while speaking at the commissioning ceremony said, the gathering is another testimony of how kwara has improved since 2019 till the moment. He maintained that the commissioning of the school is to make education priority.
He reiterated that people who wants to enrol their children to the police school can do so, as the govt has endorsed it.
The Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Saadatu Modibo Kawu, while delivering her speech at the ceremony, maintained that the establishment of police secondary school in the State will be beneficial.
She said with the establishment of the school, there will be direct job opportunities for youths. Added that, it will facilitates rural development as the existence will boost the economic activities of the community
Hajia Modibo congratulated the district head of Ballah, the IEDPU, and the entire members of Ballah community who have supported the project in one way or the other. She urged the community to give their support to the management of the school
She however appealed to the Nigeria Police Force to sustain the temple of the State Government by ensuring proper maintenance of the facilities, invest in the school to sustain and improve welfare of the students, and for effective teaching and learning
Representative of the Commissioner of Police, appreciated gov AbdulRazaq for his hard work. He maintained that the police will properly and efficiently manage the school activities
Also, Daudu Ballah while delivering his speech expressed excitement over the establishment of the school. He applauded gov AbdulRaman for his immense support towards the realization of the school
He however, implored the Governor to provide solar electricity for the school and the entire Ballah community to avoid total darkness
