KWCOED Management Visits N-Build Training Ground

The Management of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin on Wednesday paid a visit to the training ground of N-Build beneficiaries

N-Build is part of the Federal Government N-Power program created for poverty alleviation, in which the beneficiaries will undergo 3 months of training and 6 months of apprenticeship

N-Build which is divided into Automobile, Carpentry and joinery, Electrical Installation, Masonry, Painting and Decoration, Plumbing and pipe fitting, and Welding and Fabrication has 64 beneficiaries

Dean of the school of vocational and technical education Dr. Ayorinde Ezekiel, in his opening speech commended the federal government for choosing COED Ilorin as the center for training the participants

Speaking further he urged the participants to be a problem solvers and make Nigeria great

Builder Raphael OmoKanye in his address enjoined the beneficiaries to be good builders of the country

Speaking with Just Event Online at the training field, Kwara COED acting Provost, Dr. Ahmed Ayinla Jimoh commended the govt for deeming it fit to use the campus for the unprecedented training ground

He urged the trainee to judiciously use the knowledge acquired and positively empowered themselves and be a great contributor to the development of the State and the country at large

The beneficiaries expressed excitement, saying the acquired skill will heighten their lively hood, as they promised to make the country proud
