The kwara youth stakeholders under the auspices of the league of kwara youth leaders has said gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led govt has made remarkable progress since the inception of his administration
Convener of the group, Comr. Akoshile Mukhtar disclosed this on Wednesday while engaging the media on the achievements of the governor tagged: Independent assessment of the programmes, policies and projects of gov AbdulRahman.
He noted that the governor has shown himself to be for the downtrodden in society, through Establishment of Kwara State Social Investment Program (KWASSIP), which is the most extensive social investment programme in the history of Nigeria.
Speaking further, Mukhtar stated that the administration has proven to be the most youth friendly administration in the history of the state
He said the government has also invested massively in healthcare delivery, education and infrastructure development
“The administration has embarked on renovation and restocking of Primary Health Centers across the 16 LG’s of the state”.
“Governor Abdulrazaq has made healthcare a major plank of his governance, with the establishment of “KwaraCare”, which offers one of the most qualitative healthcare services at some of the lowest costs in Nigeria”.
“In the area of education, our governor has reset the trajectory of education in the state, through the establishment of “KwaraLeam”.
“In the area of infrastructural development the administration has focused on the construction of rural roads which are helping to rejig the rural economy of the state, whereas there is the bridge in Tanke, Tiper Garage lorin, the ongoing construction of the ICC as well as the construction of the Innovation Hub to help harness tech talent in the state and put them to productive and developmental use”.
“The incumbent administration has also renovated the Juvenile correctional home and the children’s reception center to cater to that aspect of social development of the young. The government has also ensured payment of counterpart funds for World Bank-funded community and social development projects (CSDP)”.
He urged the gov to continue the good work and also called on Kwarans to support the programmes the gov has put in place in 2023 for the development of the state.
He equally pleaded with the youths to ensure that saboteurs are not given room to operate.
