Marketers in the Kaiama local government area of Kwara state have started rejecting the old naira notes from customers before the dateline fixed by the Apex bank.
Confirming the report to Just Event Online TV, Hajia Mariam Ajadi who returned from Kaiama LG said it was a surprise to her when her good customers begins to reject old notes stating that it will be difficult for them to have access to the new naira notes as the deadline is near
They all said the Central Bank of Nigeria had given an order that the old naira notes should be rejected, she added.
As of the time of filing this report efforts to reach the Market heads prove abortive as their mobile numbers are not going through.
