Chairman, Council of Hosting Fathers and Mentors for the 79th National Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) Justice Idris Abdullah Haroon, OFR, has called on parents to release their children and wards for the forthcoming National IVC which will hold in Kwara, believing that it will enrich the knowledge of the participants and broaden their Islamic awareness in a way that opportunities would be available for Muslim Students to fraternize with brothers and sisters in Islam to learn more .
The chairman stated this at the Pre 79th National IVC Press Briefing held at Jumaat Mosque, Ilorin, the themed; The New Dawn: MSSN on call.
The islamic program is scheduled to hold between the 22nd and 28th December 2022.
“On behalf of HRH, Maimartaba, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, I wish to officially inform members of the public, invite you, and welcome you all to the 79th National Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) for the ‘A’ Zone of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) holding here in the Ancient City of Ilorin.”
He however said His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, CFR, mni; the President-General: Jamaa’tu Nasru-I-Islam (NJI), Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) and the Grand Patron of MSSN; neighbouring State Governors, the Honourable Minister for Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu are expected to attend the Formal Opening Ceremony at the Kwara State Stadium Complex on Saturday 24th December 2022, under the distinguished Chairmanship of Mallam Saliu Mustapha, Turaki of Ilorin.
