The Kwara South Development Forum has announced plans to hold its maiden summit on June 27 at the Offa Descendants’ Union Secretariat in Offa.
Speaking at a press conference in Ilorin, the Chairman of the Forum, Sir (Dr.) Chief J.B Ayeni Baba Oba, Ora Aiyegbaju, said the summit aims to unite the people of Kwara South and promote prosperity in the region.
Just Event Online TV reports, that the theme of the Summit is Kwara South Unity and Prosperity,” he said. “We have invited notable personalities and like minds from within and outside Kwara State to share their knowledge and experience with us.”
Ayeni emphasized that the Forum’s interest is beyond politics and political gains, but to work towards the development of Kwara South.
He appealed to the press to help sensitize the public about the summit and the Forum’s vision, saying “we rely on you to help us succeed.”

The summit aims to bring together individuals and groups from Kwara South to speak with one voice and work towards the region’s development.
