Kwara-born comedian Olayinka Yusuf Folorunsho, popularly known as Comedian Finestz, has declared that the state is now poised to compete with global entertainment industries.
Speaking with Just Event Online TV on Thursday during his comedy show held at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, GRA Ilorin, Finest praised the state’s growth in the entertainment sector.
The event, featuring music, comedy, and educational drama, showcased top performers and drew widespread acclaim.
Attendees hailed the show as the best in the state, with a star-studded lineup delivering spontaneous and electrifying performances.
Comedian Finest attributed the success to the unflinching support of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, urging him to sustain the momentum.
“The caliber of artists performing here today proves Kwara is ready to compete globally. The support from the state government has been instrumental, and Kwara-based artists are now showcasing their talent on a broader stage,” Finest said.
Bashir Olayiwola, popularly known as Comedian One Day, also commended Finest for his efforts in promoting local talent and bringing artists from across the country.
“2024 has been a remarkable year for Kwara entertainment, and this event is a testament to our growth,” he added, calling for continued support for indigenous artists.
