The New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP Kwara state chapter has inaugurated the State caretaker committee members to pilot the affairs of the party at the state level for the next six months, the inauguration held at the party secretariat Ilorin
Speaking with Journalists , during the inauguration Deputy National Secretary NNPP Presidential Campaign in the 2023 general election , Asiwaju Moshood Shittu urged the them to justify the confidence repose on them by working towards repositioning the party in the state
Speaking further, Asiwaju Moshood Shittu said, As the new leaders of the party, your duty is to ensure the successful running of the party at grassroots in order to maintain its strength in the state. We must take the party down to the grassroots and make the people feel the impact of the party and assume ownership of the party,” he said.
If you work very well there is nothing stopping us from winning Kwara by 2027 ,our Party did it in Kano and some other states, we can also replicate it here, he added
On his part, the NNPP caretaker chairman, Engr Tokunbo Omolase said to avoid vacuum five (5) member caretaker committee with my humble self ag Chairman was appointed to pilot the affairs of the party for the period of three (3) months subject to Six (6) months period.
My people what is important now, is for us to forge ahead as a team so I extend hands of fellowship to the dissolved executive members from ward levels to the State level and their supporters to work harmony with the new team.
Our Administration is going to be a goal getter, Negotiator by using consensus strategy to resolve conflict amicably.
Corporate Governance that will enhance team building and reduce any corrupt practice, preach transparency and accountability will be our policy thrust. In order to reposition the party two models have been created.
Board of Governance Comprising of Eminent People who will guide the Caretaker Committee in setting goals, objectives and strategic decisions.
