The Socio Political Group, Kwara Elite Youth Movement has declared unwavering support for Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki as preferred choice of person for the key Ministerial position from Kwara State.
This was made known on Friday in a press briefing read by Hon. Yahaya Toyin Oloyin in Ilorin, the State capital.
Oloyin described Yahaya Seriki as a well known philanthropist, Community builder and a pro-people personality who has invested in human capital development, discovered and built many young individuals.
KEYM also noted that his leadership as DG of Kwara APC Campaign Council in the just concluded general election delivered 100 per cent in the first leg of the election, winning the presidency for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and clearing all the National Assembly seats.
He said over the years, Yahaya Seriki focuses on assisting the poorest of the the poor, women, the elderly, youths and persons living with disability.
He also described his as a great politician, grassroots mobiliser with street credibility and fan base within the youth, women and elite demographics, who threw all his weights behind Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq and the APC in both 2019 and 2023 general elections
Speaking on his achievements so far, he noted that Yahaya Seriki as one of the strongest stakeholders and champions in the “O TO GE” struggle that fought for the liberation of Kwarans and put an end to the 40 years hegemony of the Saraki Dysnasty
The group said Yahaya Seriki is a master strategist and bridge builder who is more than capable for Kwara Ministerial Slot.
