The APC members and Party faithful in Oke-Ero LG area of kwara state have protested over alleged injustices to the people in the just concluded local government elections.

Stating that the election was conducted peacefully in Oke Ero LG in line with the directives and guideline issued by the KWASIEC and produced a legitimate candidate, the protested members, said it was hijacked by desperate politicians at the state level.

They questioned the candidacy of Mr. James Fadipe as the party’s acclaimed winner of the primary after ranking the third position during the election exercise.

The protested APC members led by the party elders and stakeholders called on governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to urgently address the complaints of the progressives and ignore the grandstanding of the few power-drunk saboteurs who are bent on destroying the party for their selfish interest.

Speaking with Just Event Online TV, Engr Benjamin Oyeyemi said We are yet to come to terms with the political matrix that Produced Mr. James Fadipe as the party’s acclaimed winner of the APC Chairmagetio primary election after ranking in the third position.

This is an unpopular aspirant whose native town has just one polling unit where APC had never won any election in the past. The data can be verified by anybody who cares. In Idofin Igbana Ward II, the election riggers handpicked two (2) Councilorship candidates who neither signifled interest nor participaté™ in the party primar es conducted on July 2™, 2024; in their desperate attempt ‘to overlord their preferred candidates on Idofin Igbana town, thereby, leaving Idofin Igbana Ward I with nobody to represent them in the Local Government Council.

It Is high time for His Excellency, Mall. AbduRahaman AbdulRasak, fo Integrity test and facts-check the loyalty or otherwise of those he entrusted the to run the party and State affairs.

Though, we have received several threats to silence our voices but we shall continue to stand against any form of injustices and intimidation.

NEVER shall we allowed to be treated by external interference as if Oke Ero LGA isn’t responsibly capable of handling her own affairs in the best world democratic practices.

We are quite determined to frontally confront those who are consciously or otherwase, plotting against the success of our amiable Governor and our great party, APC by dropping his name to wreck havoc on our peace loving members.

Today, we state unequivocally, that our mission is not to confront our Governe Excellency, Mall. AbduRahaman AbdulRasak, but to call on him as a listening Leader to rescue our party in Oke Ero LGA from It’s drivers at the state level who are already navigating the path to destruction.

We urge our Leader, His Excellency, Mallam AbduRahaman AbdulRasak to urgently address the complaints of the progressives and ignore the grandstanding of the few power-drunk saboteurs in particular, the trio of Soji Obasanjo (SQ)), S A. Domestic to the Governor, Prince S A. Fagbemi the state party chairman and one Peter Femi Ajayi (Arekujaye), S A Mobilization (South) who are resolute to undermine His Excellency political prowess for their self induced political gains.

We chorus loudly that they should let Oke Ero breath by reverting the political absurdity of imposing James Abiodun Fadipe as the Chairmanship candidate.
