As part of its ongoing efforts to provide support to rainstorm victims, the Kwara State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) led by its Secretary, Mr. Saadu Moshood Magaji, on Tuesday distributed relief materials to the people of Akewushola village in Ilorin East Local Government Area.
The gesture was in line with the directives of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to alleviate the sufferings of the affected individuals.
While presenting the materials, Mallam Saadu sympathized with the victims and urged the village head and leaders to ensure fair distribution to those affected.
This effort demonstrates the state government’s commitment to supporting communities affected by natural disasters as they were given 50 bundles of roofing sheets, and packs of nails.
Speaking with Just Event Online TV, Baale of Akewushola village , Mallam Salaudeen expressed gratitude to the state government for their assistance and promised to distribute the relief materials accordingly.
