Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, the newly sworn-in Member of the House of Representatives representing Ilorin West / Asa Federal Constituency, on Saturday, organized a special inaugural get-together for his constituents. The purpose of the event was to express gratitude and celebrate the unwavering support he received from the people during both the pre and post-campaign periods.
The event took place at his office located along Yidi Road in Ilorin, Kwara state. It brought together prominent political figures, party executives, and members. Hon. Muktar Shagaya, who is committed to his Islamic faith, invited Islamic scholars to deliver sermons on governance and express thanksgiving. Sheikh AbdulRazaq Alohunmota encouraged Hon. Shagaya to fulfil the promises he made during his campaign and emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude to God for the privilege bestowed upon him.
