Kwara Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Ojo Olayiwola Lights Up Ipee Ward in Oyun LGA with Solar-Powered Street Lights

To enhance security and promote development, the Kwara Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Ojo Olayiwola Oyebode, has commenced the “Light Up Oke Ogun Constituency Project.” As part of this project, he facilitated the installation of solar-powered street lights along John Dara Street, extending down to Orí-owó in Ipee Ward of Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Just Event Online TV reports, The facilitation of solar-powered street lights highlights the Deputy Speaker’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of residents within his constituency. By illuminating areas, from John Dara Street down to Orí-owó, the initiative aims to enhance visibility, deter criminal activities, and promote a sense of security among residents.

In his remarks, Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Ojo Olayiwola commended the leadership of Kwara State Governor, AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman CON, for his unwavering support and commitment to the development of Oke Ogun Constituency and Kwara state at large.

He praised Governor AbdulRahman’s proactive stance in ensuring that every nooks and crannies of his constituency receive the dividends of democracy, including essential infrastructure projects like the “Light Up Oke Ogun Constituency Project.”

Speaking further he said the utilization of solar-powered street lights demonstrates a commitment to sustainable energy solutions. By harnessing renewable energy sources, such as solar power.

He disclosed that the project will reach other wards soon because it aligns with broader efforts to promote environmental sustainability and reduce reliance on traditional energy sources.
