At the ward session, the Patigi ward 1 PDP Chairman and Youth Leader, Usman Alhaji and Mohammad Idris respectively, disclosed that Baba Idris has proven to be a worthy son of Patigi through various human capacity development facilitations for the youths of the local government, particularly the ward and other anonymous outreaches. Also, the local government party chairman, Saba Lalagi, in his address, disclosed that Baba Idris has just joined the two hitherto aspirants, Hon Aliyu Ahman Pategi and Prof Yisa Gana, from the local government and urged the three aspirants to reach consensus in order not to jettison the local government’s chances of producing the next governor of the state.

Idris, who proceeded to a special meeting with the apolitical youths of his hometown under the aegis of Patigi Emirate Youth Council, the apex youth group from the emirate, led by Mallam Hamza, in his address, made it known that his aspiration is not a do or die affair and that the two earlier aspirants from the local government, Hon Aliyu Ahman Pategi and Prof Yisa Gana, are his fathers whom he holds at high esteem.
