A leading social club in Kwara State, Kwara Gentlemen’s Club (KGC) during the weekend donated hospital materials to Zarumi Health Center in Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state as part of its corporate social responsibility activities towards improvement of healthcare delivery.
The items includes; bed side screen , folding stretcher , working table, fetoscope, hospital bed, bedspread, thermometer e.t.c.

Presenting the items on behalf of the club to the healthcare center’s matron, President Elect, Gent. Biodun Olaboye, being represented by his Vice, Gent Yinka Okoh, said the gesture was the club’s support for the health sector in improving healthcare delivery in the state.
“The medical consignment facilitated is part of the club’s yearly activities.”
“The philanthropic gesture is a continuous endeavour for us and it was just wonderful to see the smiles on the faces of the people,” he said.
Matron of the healthcare center, Haji’ya appreciated her good gesture towards the materials, adding that KGC has not failed in rendering a humanitarian assistance to the primary healthcare center, as it will bring succour healthcare center.
Speaking of on behalf of the healthcare center community, Mr AbdulGafar also appreciated the the KGCs, prayed God continue strengthen its affairs.
On same vein, the social club paid a courtesy visit to an orphanage home in the Ifelodun Local government area of state, and donated food items as part of its philanthropic gestures to give back to the society.


Amongst foods donated, are cartons of noodles, bag of rice, small chops, snacks.
The orphanage coordinator commended KGC for the gesture, saying that it was not only a worthy and noble act of selfless service, but a clear demonstration of his commitment to Nigeria and most especially Kwara State at large.
