In a historic ceremony, Jubril Mohammed has been turbaned as the 20th Kpafen (district head) of Dumangi village in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The new district head is answerable to the Emir of Shonga as one of the Emir’s subjects.
Mohammed urged the indigenes and residents to prioritize peace and unity, stressing the importance of harmony in the community’s growth and development.
Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Maman Saba Jubril, congratulated Mohammed and prayed for a successful reign.
Just Event Online TV reports, Another son of the soil, Prof. Hassan Alhaji Mohammad, described the occasion as a historical moment and praised the new district head’s advocacy for community development.
Managing Director of Valentine Chicken, Shonga, Bertus Kirstein, also congratulated the people of Dumangi and wished the new village head well.
Member representing Edu/Moro/Patigi federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Adamu Ahmed Saba, emphasized the importance of unity and peace in the community.
He congratulated the new Dumangi and charged him to lead by example.
