The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has introduced new method of accepting or rejecting admissions offered to candidates.

JAMB said henceforth, acceptance and rejection of admissions or programme can only be through 55019,66019 or biometrics.

The disclosed this in its weekly news bulletin, released on Tuesday, through its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin.

As part of measures to simplify its processes for candidates, the Board has put necessary mechanisms in place to ensure that henceforth, all admissions offered by institutions can only be accepted or rejected either through the 55019 or 66019 channels or by using the candidate’s biometrics at any accredited CBT centre or JAMB Office.

“Through this facility, candidates would be able to accept or reject any admission offer (programme change inclusive) with his/her fingerprints.

“Therefore, the newly-crafted methods of accepting or rejecting admissions, are aimed at protecting the details of the candidates and upholding the sanctity of the admission process,” it said.
