ITPA training for security personnel ends, participants get certificates
As continuous efforts towards ensuring adequate security in Kwara State, the Information Technology Professionals Association ITPA in affiliation with Kwara State Computer Professional Association, during the last stage of phase one free computer training for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority, KWARTMA officials Presents to them Certificate of attendance.
ITPA President, Mr. Opakunle Ridwan at the event said, part of the association’s framework for youth empowerment and impartation of IT knowledge through cooperate social responsibilities, the association is leveraging on its human resources to extend genuine IT skills to all sectors of governmental parastatals, non-governmental organizations, and the less privileged for all-round growth and progress of the country.
He called on the govt, cooperate organizations, and general public for patronage, which he said will encourage and enhance their viability. He commended the participants and urged them to use the acquired skills judiciously in discharging their operations
The CEO of Topstar Limited, Omotayo F. Joseph, who doubled as the patron of the organization maintained that the training is worth commending, adding that huge success had been recorded during the cause of the training
CEO KWARTMA, Yakeen Babatunde Bello at the event, commended the organizers of the training for their immense efforts towards ensuring maximum security in the State and the country as a whole
He maintained that the program is a laudable one, added that the training will be expanded within the agency
Also, HOD Operations, DCC Adetukasi Olubukola lauded ITPA. He expressed optimism, saying it will be a great advantage in discharging their duties.
He added that IT skills will help in tracking crime and criminality and every other form of insecurity in the country
