Muslims have been urged to help the less privileged in society, especially orphans who are in dare need of their assistance.
This appeal was made by the Chairman Islamic Orphanage Foundation, Ilorin, Architect Seifullahi Alege, at the management meeting of the foundation held at its temporary office, Minna Road, Adewole Estate, Ilorin.
Just Event Online TV reports, Architect Alege expressed his delight over the caring attitude being displayed by certain individuals towards the support of orphans in the society.
He said the twenty-first of this month has been set aside as this year’s Islamic Orphanage Day, where many of orphans under its care would be empowered with different equipments.
The empowerment programme would come up this Sunday, 21st April 2024, at IEDPU National Secretariat , Geri Alimi, road, Ilorin at 10 am .
Architect Alege said the entire public has been invited to join Islamic orphanage foundation to celebrate and rejoice with the orphans under its care at this year Islamic orphanage empowerment day.
