The Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs to the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Hon. Salami Wasiu Onidugbe, has extended his best wishes to all Nigerian students as they celebrate the year 2023 International Students’ Day.
According to a statement released on Friday, Onidugbe described International Students’ Day as a special day set aside to celebrate annually, the multiculturalism, diversity and cooperation among students across the globe. He further acknowledged their tenacity, resilience, hard work and dedication to achieve their career goals in a bid to make significant difference in future.
“Across the globe, students work tirelessly to achieve their targeted career goals and make a difference. In fact, some of them travel far and wide, leaving their beloved families behind, to acquire knowledge and skills that will help them secure a better life and provide for their loved ones. This growing efforts should be celebrated and encouraged for it’s geared towards achieving a better cause”, he posited.
While reaffirming Governor Abdulrazaq’s unswerving commitment to improve students’ well-being in the state, Onidugbe urges students to remain peaceful, tolerant and ingenious as they continue to tow the path of prosperity and productivity.
“As a government that highly prioritizes students’ welfare, we will consistently work to improve the educational services provided to you and reform the environment necessary for your development”, he concluded.
