The International Aviation College Ilorin on Tuesday, held a graduation ceremony for four students. Among the Graduands, one student obtained a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Multi-Engine Rating (MER), while the remaining three students bagged Private Pilot Licenses (PPL).
Representing the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the ceremony, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Hajia Saidu Habeebat while speaking with Just Event Online TV, commended the college’s management and staff for their dedication and commitment to the college’s growth.
She encouraged them to maintain their momentum, assuring them that the Governor would continue to show his appreciation accordingly.
Hajia Saidu also urged the graduating students to become exemplary ambassadors of the Aviation College, Ilorin and to apply the professional training and moral values instilled in them during their time at the college.
On his part, the acting rector of the college, Capt Yakubu Okatahi, expressed his gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq for his unwavering support, stating that the Governor’s contributions have been instrumental to the college’s success.
He emphasized that the college is proud of the Governor’s support and encouraged the graduates to utilize the knowledge and skills they acquired during their studies.
Capt Yakubu Okatahi reminded them that the industry is eagerly waiting for their contributions and urged them not to disappoint.
One of the graduands, Ezenma Chindera said he felt fulfilled and great that his long-time dream is now being achieved, he expressed gratitude to the state government and the management of the aviation college for the support they received throughout their studies.
