He added that he has received reports from Abuja on the safe returns of all the 150 personnel to their various destinations.

Speaking earlier at the palace of Elese of Igbaja, one of the team leaders, Dr Bukola Adejuwon disclosed that the team of 150 experts were sent to part of Kwara State for identifications of potential minerals deposits in the quest of the Federal Government in sourcing for alternative to oil and gas dependency.

He added that the exercise was preceding aerial surveys of the mapped areas and further pointed out that their assignments included picking soil tests from those areas.

In his brief remarks during the courtesy call of the teams, the Elese of Igbaja, Oba Ahmed Babalola Awuni Arepo Iii urged government to take into considerations the welfare of communities where such minerals could be found for explorations.

He decried the situation where welfare of the people of communities with such valuable assets are made worst during exploration citing the deplorable conditions of Ajassepo/Igbaja/Okeode/Shagbe/Oreke road as a very typical bad example.
