Engr. Ahmed Kazeem Jatto who represented the Chairman, Kwara State Technical Committee of COREN, Engr. Bashir Atunde Lawal, FNSE, at the Technical Tender Opening by the Kwara State Ministry of Works held on Wednesday, Commended Kwara State, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his giants stride in bridging the infrastructural gaps in the State.

The Hon. Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu, MNSE, ably represented, was also commended for ensuring strict compliance with COREN License as a major qualifying criterion for bidders.
The Contractors were enjoined to ensure Government gets value for the huge amount of money voted for the construction of the Twenty One (21) Roads to be awarded, and always remember that COREN will be on the lookout to apprehend and prosecute anyone found wanting.
The State Public Procurement Agency was also commended for the good work the Agency is doing.
It was emphasized that just like someone without a driver’s license isn’t qualified to drive; anyone found executing an Engineering Project without being Registered and Licensed is committing a great offense, and COREN STC will leave no stone unturned in stamping out Quackery from the Profession.
