The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has applauded the Governor AbdulRahmam AbdulRasaq of kwara state on the commencement of the Ilorin Smart City Satellite Town in Ilorin South local government area of the state.
The Ilorin Emirate Youth under the auspices of His Royal Highness, Maimaritaba Alh. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, in a statement signed by the National President of the Association, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunma and made available to newsmen in Ilorin
The Ilorin Emirate Youth noted that the Ilorin Smart City Satellite Town is an offshoot of the Ilorin City Master Plan, designed for the expansion of the capital city, which according to the statement would create more job opportunities for the state particularly for the people of Akanbi-one and two in Ilorin South.
The IEYDA maintained that the Emir of Ilorin, Maimaritaba Alh. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, always prayed for the development of Ilorin emirate and this Ilorin Smart City Satellite Town is among the prayers of our Emir.
The Ilorin Emirate Youth stressed that this is an opportunities for the sons and daughters of the host communities especially those in real estate management to come and invest for the growth of the local government and state in general.
The Ilorin Emirate Youth then appealed to the people of Ilorin emirate to rally round Governor AbdulRahmam AbdulRasaq on the projects and programmes that will impact positively on the masses and fast track more development in the state.
