The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has commended the Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON for the cash transfer and rice palliative to indigents in the state
In a joint press statement signed by IEYDA’s National President, Alhaji Babatunde Salaudeen, and National Publicity Secretary, Alh Muhammed Uthman Jagunmon and obtained by Just Event Online TV on Friday , the association acknowledges the governor’s timely relief efforts amidst the hardship in the country.
IEYDA is an association comprising of youths from all the cities and towns across the five LGA had charged itself with the responsibility of tackling likely challenges within the emirate, and ultimately promote peace and development
The commendation is in recognition of the governor’s efforts in disbursing relief funds of N30,000 to some of the vulnerable members of the association.
The distribution was facilitated through the office of the Acting General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), Dr. Tejidini Abdulwasiu Olayinka.
The youth association also expresses appreciation for the governor’s provision of 10kg rice palliatives to some of its members as well through the office of Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara Governor on Community Development, Dr Lawal Olohungbebe
The statement urged Dr. Abdulwasiu Olayinka Tejidin, and Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe to continue intensify their efforts in addressing the welfare needs of the people, as the association remains vigilant in promoting the well-being of the community.
