Residents and motorists of Oyun tipper garage, Tepaten, Jokolu, Amodi, Tepaten oke, Ajiha Bako, Qiribe communities in Ilorin have expressed deep concern over the deplorable condition of their major access roads, calling on the Kwara State Government under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to come to their aid.
The community members, including the motorists, commuters and other road users, lamented the hardship caused by the poor state of the road, which they said has negatively affected transportation, local businesses, and general socio-economic activities in the area.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, some community members and other road users who spoke with Just Event Online TV on Sunday, appealed to the government for a lasting solution, noting that a good road network would not only ease movement but also enhance economic growth and improve the overall well-being of the people.
They urged the state government to prioritize the rehabilitation of the roads, emphasizing that quality infrastructure remains a key driver of development and public welfare.
