An Ilorin-born scholar, Dr. Khadijat Toyin Musah, FWAPCNM, has achieved a historic academic milestone following her promotion to the professorial cadre by the Federal University Otuoke (FUO), Bayelsa State.
Just Event Online TV reports, The university’s Governing Council approved her appointment as the Pioneer Professor of Nursing Science, marking a significant advancement in the institution’s academic growth.
With this elevation, Professor Toyin Musah becomes the first Professor of Community-Public Health Nursing in the Faculty of Nursing Science, Federal University Otuoke. She also holds the distinct honour of being the first Professor of Nursing Science from the Ilorin Emirate and the first female Professor of Nursing Science in Kwara State.
Fondly described as a lady of many firsts, Professor Musah’s academic journey has continued to inspire excellence and leadership in the field of nursing education and research.
In her reaction, Professor Khadijat Toyin Musah expressed profound appreciation to the University Governing Council and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Teddy Charles Adias, for their unwavering support and commitment to academic excellence.
