The residents of Ifesowapo Agbojulogun community in Ilorin West Local Government Areas of Kwara State have come together to drive growth and development in their area, but are seeking support from the Kwara State government to address pressing issues.
In a studio live interview on Just Event Online TV on Monday, community leader, Mallam Mashood Alage highlighted several initiatives they have undertaken, including the installation of a transformer funded by community members.
However, they expressed frustration over the deplorable state of their roads, which despite repeated visits from government officials, remain unrepaired.
The community has attempted to manage the road themselves, but erosion has worsened the situation. They are now appealing to the Kwara State government to intervene and provide a lasting solution.
Additionally, the community boasts a functional cottage hospital, but is seeking government assistance to improve its condition.
Security is a top priority in the community, with rules and regulations in place to ensure safety. Those who violate these rules face sanctions and penalties.
The community is calling on the government to support their efforts and help address these pressing issues to ensure the continued growth and development of Ifesowapo Agbojulogun.
