The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) expressed their joy and appreciation as its members benefited from the just concluded National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) empowerment which captured 100 youths across Kwara
IEYDA made this known today during a meeting with its members that benefited from training and empowerment
Just Event Online TV reports, that the initiative is set to bring about a significant boost to the local economy and open doors of opportunity for aspiring young individuals.
IEYDA, a prominent association representing Youths Across five local governments in Emirate, commended the Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof Agboola Ibrahim Gambari, for his instrumental role in facilitating the collaboration between NASENI and the Kwara State government.
The National President of IEYDA, Alhaji Salaudeen Babatunde said, This partnership has resulted in the creation of a comprehensive training program aimed at equipping the youth with relevant knowledge and skills in electrical installation and maintenance.
The program, organized by NASENI, includes a series of workshops and hands-on training sessions conducted by experienced industry professionals. Participants will be exposed to the latest techniques and technologies in electrical installation and maintenance, empowering them to contribute effectively to the growing demands of the electrical industry.
IEYDA National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Uthman Muhammed Jagunmo, expressed his gratitude and lauded the efforts of NASENI and the Kwara State government for their commitment to youth empowerment and skills development. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in addressing unemployment and equipping the younger generation with the necessary expertise to thrive in the ever-evolving job market.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State also received a commendation from IEYDA for his continuous support and dedication to youth development. The association acknowledged his administration’s proactive approach to creating an enabling environment for skills acquisition and entrepreneurship.
The beneficiaries of this program expressed their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to learn from industry experts. They acknowledged that the training would not only enhance their employability but also enable them to establish their businesses and contribute to the socioeconomic growth of Kwara State.
