The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has congratulated an illustrious son of the Emirate, Alhaji Salihu Umar Agboola-Balogun, on his recent appointment as a member of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The association, in a statement signed by its president, Alhaji Muhammad Uthman Jagunma and made available through the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdulfatai Oloyin, described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Alhaji Agboola-Balogun would bring his wealth of experience and contribute meaningfully to the development of the National Assembly Service Commission.
The association commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing another son of the Emirate into such a strategic national position, appreciated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, Senator Saliu Mustapha and all concerned stakeholders in the Emirate and Kwara State at large in the national assembly for ensuring better synergy and bringing dividends of democracy, urging the new appointee to uphold the values of integrity, diligence, and service to humanity.
IEYDA also rejoiced with the Emir of Ilorin, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Gambari community, and the entire people of the Ilorin Emirate on the appointment.
IEYDA wished the new appointee success in his new assignment and prayed to God for wisdom, strength, and guidance in carrying out his duties effectively.
