IEYDA Extends Support to Patients with Food, Cash Donations in Ilorin
…Aims to Ease Medical Expenses in Annual Empowerment Program
The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) under the auspices of His Royal Highness, Maimaritaba Alh. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, has distributed food items and cash to patients at Olomo-wewe Hospital, Center Igboro, Ilorin as part of their annual empowerment program aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals in the community.

The programme, which took place yesterday Thursday 16/1/2025 where patients receive food items and financial assistance to help offset their medical expenses.
The Ilorin Emirate Youth led by its National President, Alhaji Muhammed Uthman-Jagunmo (Jagunmo Toba Ilorin) said the gesture is the continuation of this year’s annual empowerment programmes to bring relief and smiles to their faces.
Alhaji Uthman-Jagunmo maintained that the primary objective of the Association is to promote peace and understanding among community members, while also working towards the socio-economic development of Ilorin emirate and state in general.
The National President noted that hunger has become a leading cause of hospitalization, saying that hospitals are in need beyond medication, food items essential for patient care.
Alhaji Uthman-Jagunmo then appealed to the governments, individuals and organizations to donate food items to their local hospitals.
The patients, who were visibly grateful for the support, expressed their appreciation to the Ilorin Emirate Youth for their kindness and generosity.
The National President, Alhaji Uthman-Jagunmo was accompanied by the Director of Finance of the Association, Kabir Rosheed Ajao, the Assistant Secretary, Yahaya Oba-dudu, the Vice Chairman Edun Development Association, AbdulMutalib Ameen Waheed and representative of Bijowuro Development Association.
