Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has felicitated with a seasoned lawyer and distinguished son of Ilorin, Dr Mobolaji Ojibara, on his well deserved emergence as the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim, and obtained by Just Event Online TV on Sunday, the Union said that the people of Ilorin Emirate were delighted that one of them had emerged winner in the highly competitive contest for the Chief Scribe of an influential professional body.
The Union, in the statement, described the new position of the NBA General Secretary as an opportunity for Dr Ojibara to prove his organisational capacities and also promote the good image of Ilorin Emirate.
The statement added that Dr Ojibara has no choice but to give NBA his best for his name to be preserved in the annals of the Association for generations unborn to admire.
The statement thanked members of the Association from allover Nigeria for reposing huge confidence in the capacity of Dr Ojibara to work with others towards moving NBA beyond the next level.
The Union wished the General Secretary a very peaceful, successful and rewarding tenure.
