The member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency at the 10th National Assembly, Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya has been awarded with the Emerging Legislative Star Award from the Asa Progressive Elite Forum during their inaugural general conference, which took place at the Banquet Hall in Ilorin, on Tuesday.
The event which brought together progressive folds was aimed at creating an inclusive atmosphere within the All Progressives Congress in the Asa Local Government and beyond while promoting good governance and awarding people who are committed to working towards the development of the state and Asa in particular.
On his official page, Honourable Shagaya appreciated the efforts of the people of the constituency for the support and cooperation.
“I was honored to receive the Emerging Legislative Star Award from the Asa Progressive Elite Forum during their inaugural general conference, which took place at the Banquet Hall in Ilorin. I was represented by my legislative aide, Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim, who graciously accepted the award on my behalf. I’m truly grateful for the support and encouragement of the people of Asa, and I look forward to continuing to work together to improve our constituency”, he wrote.
At the event were: Professor Abdulraheem Adaramaja, Chairman of Kwara State SUBEB; Alhaji Mahmoud Turawa, APC Kwara Central Chairman; Engr. Abdulganiy Abdulazeez, Commissioner for Energy; Prof. Abdulfatai Ajadi; Alhaja Aminat, Chairperson of Kwara Civil Service Commission; amongst others.
