Hon. Yinka Aluko urged everyone to use the Ramadan period to reflect on their daily lives and strengthen their connection with Allah. He emphasized his commitment to helping people and improving their welfare, stating that his life is dedicated to serving his constituents.
He said this during the 4th Annual Ramadan Lecture, which was held on Saturday, 22nd March 2025, at the Ikokoro Compound, off Niger Road, Ilorin.

The guest lecturer, Dr. Al-Imam Issa Soliu El-Gambari, delivered a thought-provoking sermon, charging political followers to be patient and loyal to their leaders. He also reminded leaders to prioritize their core mandate of serving the people they represent. Dr. El-Gambari specifically urged Hon. Yinka Aluko to increase his philanthropic efforts.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including APC chairmen of Ilorin East and South, Hon. Habeeb and Hon. Jaji, as well as Hon. Abdullahi Gobir, Chairman of all ward chairmen of Ilorin East, and Hon. Abdulmajeed Poddo, among others.
Dr. El-Gambari also advised youths to work hard and avoid the “quick money syndrome,” especially students. His words of wisdom resonated with the audience, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, loyalty, and selfless service to humanity.
