The 10th House Leader and Member Representing Ilorin Central Constituency at Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Oba Magaji AbdulKadir has undertaken the distribution of palliative to 2,000 constituents in an attempt to alleviate their challenges during the festive season.
The distribution takes place at the Lawmaker Constituency Office, Surulere Area, Ilorin.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon. Oba Magaji explain that the ability to celebrate Eid Kabir fiesta customarily has been hindered by the current economic setbacks which have a substantial impact on some sectors of our society, not leaving out the vulnerable members.
He added that to cushion the effect of hardships in our constituency, we need to show exemplary leadership by procuring and distributing essential food items to the constituents within Ilorin Central Constituency.
“The idea of distributing palliative is to show our dedication to providing relief and support to those most in need during a moment of cultural and religious significance.”, he continued.
As we celebrate Eid Kabir in a few days, let us remember the importance of sharing, caring and supporting one another.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Comr. Toyeeb Ajanaku commended Hon. Oba Magaji for his show of kindness, saying he has built on the good legacy of the late Hon. Olawoyin Magaji.
