Hon. Ali Jimoh empowers constituents with items worth N12M

The Deputy Whip, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ali Amuda Jimoh who is representing Ilorin East local government had on Monday
empowered constituents with items worth N12 million.
speaking at the event held at Oke Oyi, Ilorin, maintained that in the history of Kwara State and Ilorin East, no representative has ever brought development to the constituency like he has done
“I have repaired 48 condemned boreholes, facilitate electricity, scholarship for students, renovation of classrooms while building of new classrooms are ongoing, empowerment program among others in my constituency.
Hon. Ali commended Governor AbdulRaman Abdulrazaq for the honour bestowed on him and wished him success in governing the affairs of Kwara State to greatness
He however urged the beneficiaries to utilize the equipments for its purposes, while shunning from selling off what was given to them
Also, Kwara House Leader, Hon. Olawoyin Magaji, while delivering the goodwill message commended the Hon. for bringing succor to the people and urged him to do more
Earlier, the Special Adviser to Kwara State Governor on Religion (Islamic), Alh. Ibrahim Danmegoro while giving his opening remarks commended Hon. Ali for the support given to his constituents in order to eradicate poverty.
The items doled were Generator, complete sewing machine, deep freezers, motorcycle, hairdressing equipment, POS machines, laptops and cash for each beneficiaries. He also awarded scholarships to 24 students proceeding for Junior WAEC. Adding that quality education for pupils will help in developing them and the country in the nearest future
The beneficiaries, while responding to an interview from Just Event Online correspondent, expressed happiness saying, the empowerment will enhance their livelihood
They commended the Hon. Kind gesture, also enjoined other political leaders, irrespective of their political parties to inculcate his good work. Adding that by doing so, it will reduce hooliganism, cultism, cyber crimes and every other social vices in the State
