Hijrah 1446AH; IEYDA Charges Muslims to Emulate Prophet Muhammed by Aiding the Less-privileges , Downtrodden

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, has extended its warmest congratulations to Muslims globally on the occasion of the new Islamic calendar year, 1446 A.H.

Through a Happy New Islamic Year message jointly signed by the National President of the association, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salau, and the National Publicity Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, IEYDA urges Muslim brothers and sisters who have been blessed by Allah with abundance and government across all levels to emulate the spirit of Hijrah and the Prophet’s (S.A.W) teachings by looking back and assisting those in need at the grassroots. According to the statement, it is a tough time for the less-privileges, owing to the harsh economic condition of the nation, which has made it completely difficult for many family to get one meal a day. IEYDA enjoined Well-Meaning Individuals and everyone occupying one position or the other across all government levels to always strive to be a support system for the Needy, stating that it is a contribution they will never regret as Allah will always reward them beyond their comprehension.

IEYDA used the occasion of the New Islamic Year to appreciate the supporters and financiers of IEYDA programmes over the years, while enjoined them to see the teachings and lessons of Hijrah as a catalyst to continue doing more, with prayers to Allah to continue replenishing their pockets in multiple folds and grant their heart desires.

IEYDA pray to Allah to make this year’s Hijrah signify a new beginning, a fresh start, bring us closer to Allah, increase our faith, guide us on the path of righteousness, be a source of comfort, hope, strength for one another and make it a renewed commitment to the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
