In celebration of the 50th birthday of Amb. AbdulFatai Yahaya Seriki OFR, Amba Lokan Global Youth Movement (ALOGYM) organised a special prayer session today at Idiape Mosque, Ilorin, to celebrate the life and achievements of the esteemed personality.
The prayer session was led by renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Ahmad Tijani Yusuf Kunburi Karatu. The gathering was dedicated to offering prayers and seeking blessings for Amb. Yahaya Seriki. Sheikh Kunburi Karatu led the recitation of selected Surahs (chapters) of the Holy Quran, in a solemn act of supplication to mark the icon’s birthday.
Following the spiritual ceremony, Comrade Wolima Olajide, the Group Chairman of ALOGYM, expressed his gratitude. He specifically appreciated Amb. Yahaya Seriki for his exemplary life and leadership. Comr. Olajide also thanked all the members who were present, recognizing their commitment to honoring the celebrant.
The event, which underscores the high regard the community, particularly the youth movement, holds for Amb. Yahaya Seriki, honored him with a spiritual celebration focused on blessing and goodwill.
