The Grand Mufti of Ilorin Emirate, Sheikh Suleiman Faruq-Onikijipa, OON has admonished Nigerians particularly the people of Ilorin emirate to be patient with the economic hardship facing the country.
Sheikh Faruq-Onikijipa gave the charge while reacting to the protests staged by youth against the effect of hunger and poverty presently experience in the country.
The Grand Mufti of Ilorin emirate said he also feel the situation, quoted verses in the Holy Quran saying that after suffering, relief would follow and enjoined Nigerians to see it as a test from Allah.
Sheikh Faruq-Onikijipa called on federal and state government to urgently find lasting solution to current challenges facing the country.
The Grand Mufti of Ilorin emirate advised Nigerians to move closer to Allah, adding that prayers is the only solution to the present challenges.
