Borno state Governor Zulum has approved a minimum wage of N70,000.
He has also ordered that a minimum wage of N70,000 be paid to all workers with immediate effect.
Governor Babagana Zulum has also authorized the allocation of N3 billion to provide death benefits for the families of civil servants who have passed away.
During a meeting held on Thursday in Maiduguri, Mr. Zulum expressed this to the Technical Committee overseeing the implementation of the National Minimum Wage.
