Honorable Commissioner for Works and Transportation, Engr. Rotimi Iliasu has said, the Kwara State Government led by Gov Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq is committed to general infrastructure development of the State
Rotimi made this known in Ilorin during a news program tagged “Newskeg”, organized by NUJ Correspondent Chapel
He disclosed that about 143 roads have been constructed and rehabilitated in both rural and urban settings, added that maintenance has been done to over 200 roads, in the last three years of the administration
The Commissioner urged the general public to desist from burning refuse in drainages, saying, it quickly damage roads.
He, however, debunked the allegation that the NNPC took the State govt to court over the construction of flyover in Tanke Ilorin, saying there were no issues with both parties while assuring Kwarans that the ongoing projects will be completed in no time
