A former President of the National Association of Kwara State Students, Comrade Mumeen Habeeb Olamilekan, formally declared his intention to join the Kwara States’ House of Assembly race to represent the good people of Ilorin North/West Constituency under the platform of People Democratic Party, PDP. The aspirant stormed the Ajikobi Central Ward party Secretariat with his supporters to consult with the youths’ executive committee members and other party faithfuls.

Comrade Mendula was warmly received by the party faithfuls led by the Youth Leader of the PDP in Ajikobi Ward, Abdulafeez Mannah, and other party executives.
Speaking to JUST EVENT ONLINE TV after the meeting, Comr. Mumeen thanked the executives and members of the party for the warm reception accorded him and his team.
“The status quo of our environment is not favorable for a proper legislative representation, I’ve met with my prospective constituents to add to my awareness on where the shoe pinches them and, we need to profer what is required to solve the problems,” he said.
“I know how the legislatives’ obligations, I was once the President of a legislative arm during my time as an undergraduate if, given the chance, I will make a difference,” He continued.
Speaking further, He emphasized the need for party faithfuls to support competent aspirants who can save the constituency from a poor representation.
Reacting Youth Leader Ajikobi Ward, Hon. Mannah assured Comr. Mumeen that the party will be free, fair, and just to all.
“I want to assure you that the party will give all aspirants a level playing ground as we are committed to winning every available seat come 2023”.
