The Federal Government has said it had started upgrading the facilities and laboratories in 50 select public senior secondary schools across the country.
The Executive Secretary of the National Senior Secondary Education Commission, Iyela Ajayi, announced this when he visited Nasarawa State Education Commissioner John Mamman.
A statement yesterday in Lafia, the state capital, by the agency’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Fatima Bappare, said Ajayi told Mamman that the Government College in Nasarawa State was among those selected for the upgrade.
Ajayi said President Bola Tinubu placed high priority on the development of the education sector as evident in the budget allocation to the sector in this year’s Appropriation Act.
