Residents of Eyingbo in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have heaved a sigh of relief following the fixing of a borehole in their community by the Kwara Training, Repair, Empowerment and Community~ownership (KWA~TRECO) beneficiaries.
This was contained in press statement made available to Just Event Online TV on Sunday
One of the residents, Mrs Adeniyi Florence, in a video, said that despite the efforts she, alongside other women, made to fix the borehole by contributing money, it was unsuccessful. She added that well water in the area had dried up.
She therefore expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration for his people~oriented projects, saying that KWATRECO initiative is capable of boosting access to drinkable water in rural communities.
It should be stated that no fewer than eight local government areas including Moro, Ilorin East, Asa, Ifelodun, Isin, among others had benefited from the project
