Engr. Rilwanu Cook gives scholarships to indigent students

As part of his commitment towards Education and advancement of knowledge, the Chairman, Managing Director, JCR Engineering Limited, Engr. Rilwanu Cook (MNSE) has awarded scholarships to indigent students that excelled in the just concluded 2023 Summer Lessons organized by the Okelele Youth League (OYUL).

The scholarships were announced on Monday at the premises of the free summer lesson, Amule Secondary school, Ilorin.

Speaking shortly after the announcement, Engr. Cook who was represented by Zakariyah Abdulkadir Olasunkanmi advised the students to focus on their studies for their own good and benefits of the society at large and also to emulate the kindness of Engr Rilwan.

While speaking on behalf of Okelele Youth League and summer lesson committee, vice president, Toyin Hakeem Asude commended the philanthropic act of Eng. Cook in making education accessible to the less privilege in the he society, praying to Almighty to be his strength in all his dealings.

The students in numbers expressed gratitude to the organizers of the free summer lesson for providing them an avenue to showcase their knowledge. They equally appreciated the gesture of Engr. Rilwanu and promised to be a good ambassador of the community and Kwara State.
