In a move to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment, Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya, member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, recently presented tricycles and essential documents to five deserving beneficiaries from the constituency.
The “KEKE IRORUN” initiative aims to promote business ownership, enhance the local economy, and curb youth restiveness by improving the financial and social well-being of the community.
This was contained in press statement made available to Just Event Online TV by media assistant to Rep Shagaya, Luqman Basheer
The “KEKE IRORUN” scheme is a self-sustaining initiative designed to extend the benefits of this project to even more constituents. As the initial beneficiaries complete their discounted payments, the funds will be reinvested in purchasing new tricycles for another group of deserving individuals within the constituency.
This cyclical approach ensures that the positive impact of the program continues to be felt by community members, driving economic growth and enhancing lives through a continuous loop of progress.
By providing the tricycles at a discounted price, Honourable Shagaya aims to encourage commitment and instill a sense of ownership among beneficiaries. The arrangement alleviates financial burden while encouraging responsible management and ensuring the success of new ventures. During the presentation, beneficiaries were urged to seize this opportunity, as it holds significant potential to improve their economic lives and activities.
Honourable Shagaya’s team also visited the Agbabiaka Community in Ilorin, where a recent fire outbreak caused substantial property damage. The team offered condolences to affected families, standing in solidarity with the community during this challenging time.
