Emir of Ilorin congratulates newly National Executives of PCRC, Alh Olaniyan and Alh Jagunmo

 

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has called on members of Police Community Relation Committee to support Nigeria Police to curb the criminality in the society.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari made the call when he received the National Deputy Auditor of Police Community Relation Committee, Alhaji Uthman Jagunmo led by the chairman kwara state Command, Alhaji Bayo Lawal in his palace.

The Emir of Ilorin charged the newly executives of the PCRC led by its National chairman, Alhaji Magaji Ibrahim-Olaniyan to see their position as a call to serve humanity, adding that security of life and property is a collective responsibility to fight the menace.

The first class monarch noted that police alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of the safety, adding that community have positive role to play for the safety of all.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari congratulated the new National Executive members of the Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC) and prayed Allah to guide them in discharging their civic responsibility.

In his response, the National Deputy Auditor, Alhaji Uthman Jagunmo thanked the Emir for nominated him through kwara state PCRC Command for the position and promised to justify the confidence repose in him.

Earlier, the chairman of PCRC state Command, Alhaji Bayo Lawal thanked the Emir for his fatherly role for ensuring peace in Ilorin Emirate, Kwara and Nigeria as a whole.
