Dr. Toba Oloyede on Tuesday finally heed to the call of the people to contest for House of Representatives in the forthcoming general election, as he declared his interest to run for the seat of Isin/Oke-Ero/Irepodun/Ekiti federal constituency
Dr. Toba made the declaration when he visited the Owu APC ward meeting in the Isin local government area of Kwara State
He said his decision to represent good people of Isin/Oke-Ero/Irepodun/Ekiti federal constituency was inspired by the call of the people in the constituency and also his desire to give constituents good representation as well as to help actualize the clamor for generational change in the political leadership of the country.
“This well-embraced declaration may very likely reawake the campaign for political inclusion of youth constituency.
He promised to use his position in the house of representatives to better the wellbeing of the people of the constituency if elected.
Responding, the APC Chairman Owu, Elder Jacob Adeyemi commended the courage of Dr. Oloyede and promised to support Dr. Oloyede because he’s the son of the soil
“Our ward has been supporting candidates ever since democracy started but this time around we urge other wards and local governments to give our son Dr. Oloyede maximum support,” he said.
