No fewer than 300 poor and vulnerable on Saturday benefitted from a free medical outreach programme conducted by the Dr AbdulMumeen Youth in Politics at PDP Central Ward Ajikobi Ilorin.
The free Medical outreach is self-sponsored by the convener of the group Dr Abdulmumeen Kayode Ahmed in support of President of the 8th Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP
Medical doctors, nurses and others were involved in the programme
Speaking at the program, PDP chairman Ajikobi ward, Comrade Yusuf Garba applauded the efforts of Dr Abdulmumeen Youth in Politics to improve the healthcare of people at the grassroots and enjoin them to do more for the indigents
Speaking with Just Event Online, the convener of Dr Abdulmumeen Youth in Politics, Dr Abdulmumeen Kayodd Ahmed said the event was to sensitise indigents about their health, prevent poor health habits and bring health support services to their doorstep.
Abdulmumeen noted that this outreach is very important and it is coming at this particular period, not because of anything but because we learnt that the people need medical assistance.
Speaking further he said the program was to promote all the PDP candidates across the country
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs Olatundun commended the organisation for the free medical outreach and seek God protection and blessing for the convener and members of the group
The program was graced by PDP Chairman Ilorin West LGA, PDP Candidate Ilorin North /West Constituency, Hon Isiaq Saka Saadu and , PDP Chairman Ajikobi ward among others
